Initially, collaborating with the Client we created a bespoke solution for the complicated logistical situation whereby two of the nine floors remained tenanted throughout the project life cycle and a new temporary entrance and reception needed to be erected.
The works to the main office floors consisted of the removal of the outgoing tenant's residual cellular office fit out, followed by the installation of new mechanical and electrical systems. New metal suspended ceilings, new LED lighting and raised access floors to the open floor plates were also installed to present a new CAT A open plan office layout to seven floors.
The common parts element of works included new external plant
to the roof area, and all new floor and wall finishes to the
main stair core. There was a grand total of fifty-four new toilets
and showers that were fully stripped and refitted, along with
dedicated shower and toilet facilities to the newly created
within the basement.
Externally, a stunning new entrance canopy incorporating a
dedicated feature column was installed which included the
relocation of the entrance curtain walling, increasing the
reception in size. This was followed by the full refurbishment
of the reception area to high specification including a new
reception desk and new feature finishes to
all the internal walls.
In the ground floor courtyard, a spectacular and unique
lighting feature was installed to add interest and
modernisation to this well
