Over the past eight years our team has carried out a comprehensive refurbishment to the building both internally and externally, over many phases.

Continuing our strong relationship with McKay Securities, we were appointed to carry out our sixth phase of works at Portsoken House with the Cat A refurbishment to the 8th and 2nd floors, along with a new reception, formation of a basement cycle store, shower facilities and WC replacement to four floors.

Due to the high level of occupancy within the building the management of the refurbishment process had to be meticulously planned and programmed, as one of the key drivers was the continued enjoyment of the building by the existing tenants, this encompassed the reception being maintained throughout the duration of the works, with all new installations being carried out outside of normal working hours.

The scope of works to the main office floors included new services throughout all areas with new split level and exposed void ceiling installations and
cutting-edge lighting schemes.

The reception refurbishment included new porcelain floors, an artistic polished plaster feature wall allied with bespoke joinery wall finishes. We also manufactured and installed a specialist made Corian reception desk. A brand new glazed automated entrance façade was also installed with
a new full security access
control system.
